Two Capitals Week
Seven days and six nights: three in Moscow and three in St. Petersburg. A focused city route without Karelia: a dedicated day for the Sapsan, the Kremlin, the Hermitage and one countryside palace.
Season and plans for changes
- A year-round city route without Karelia. In winter, an indoor palace visit replaces the summer fountain park.
Day-by-day program
Day 1 — Arrival in Moscow and rest
We meet you at the Moscow airport, transfer you to your hotel and leave time to rest after the flight. We do not schedule the Kremlin on arrival day; if your flight lands in the morning and the family has energy, we can add a short 90-minute visit to Izmailovo Kremlin. A welcome dinner is included in the evening at an agreed restaurant. Night in Moscow.
Welcome dinner included. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 2 — The Moscow Kremlin and Armoury Chamber
Dedicate the day to the Moscow Kremlin and the Armoury Chamber (the Kremlin is closed on Thursdays, in which case we swap days). Armoury admission follows timed sessions at 10:00, 12:00, 14:30 or 16:30; to keep the pace relaxed, we do not add Moscow City to this day. Lunch is included at an agreed restaurant. Night in Moscow.
Breakfast included. Lunch included; the venue or packed lunch is agreed before departure. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 3 — Family day in Moscow
Choose the day's focus around your children's ages and interests: the indoor Dream Island theme park, or a walk at VDNKh with the Cosmonautics Museum. Stop for lunch at a café along the route (at your own expense) or request a packed lunch box in advance. Night in Moscow.
Breakfast included. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 4 — Sapsan high-speed train to St. Petersburg
After breakfast, transfer unhurriedly to Leningradsky Station and board the Sapsan high-speed train to Moskovsky Rail Terminal in St. Petersburg (journey time 3 hours 47 minutes to 4 hours 20 minutes). We keep the morning free of museums so travel day stays calm. Meals on the train are at your own expense, or we can prepare a lunch box on request. Check in and rest in St. Petersburg.
Breakfast included. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 5 — The Hermitage in the afternoon
Enjoy a free morning to rest after the train. In the afternoon, visit the Hermitage with your guide (about 2–2.5 hours with children; the museum is closed on Mondays, so we swap days if needed). Lunch after the museum is included. Night in St. Petersburg.
Breakfast included. Lunch included; the venue or packed lunch is agreed before departure. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 6 — One countryside palace
Visit one suburban palace without rushing: during the fountain season (25 April to 18 October) we head to the Lower Park at Peterhof; in colder months we visit Catherine Palace and the Amber Room in Tsarskoye Selo (in winter group admission opens around midday). A packed lunch box is included. Night in St. Petersburg.
Breakfast included. Lunch included; the venue or packed lunch is agreed before departure. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.
Day 7 — Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, take a private transfer to the airport. If your flight departs from St. Petersburg, you head directly to Pulkovo; if you fly home from Moscow, we arrange the return transfer day separately.
Breakfast included. Other lunches and dinners are paid separately; we can help with restaurant choices.

How we plan meals
Options vary by region, and halal dining can be limited outside major cities. Before booking, we discuss your requirements and ask kitchens about ingredients and preparation. Where suitable options are unavailable, we propose fish or vegetarian dishes for your approval. This does not mean the restaurant or kitchen is halal-certified.
Price on request
The USD price is calculated at the exchange rate on the day of the request. The site does not publish a fixed dollar rate; we confirm the group, the dates and the services in the proposal.
We recommend medical insurance. It is not included in the tour price and is not required for visa-free entry. For an e-visa, the portal still lists a policy for the whole stay unless an official exemption applies to your citizenship.
