Meeting, customs, connectivity, and transfer — step by step
We meet you at arrivals with an Almas Russia sign. Below is what to expect if you arrive independently.
Arrival & passport control
Follow the Passport Control signs. Saudi Arabia: visa-free for up to 90 days per calendar year from 11 May 2026. UAE and Qatar: up to 90 days in each 180-day period. Oman: up to 30 days per trip and 90 days per calendar year. Kuwait and Bahrain ordinary passports: a unified e-visa for up to 30 days, applied 86 to 4 days before entry, with one application per child. Official MFA links are collected on our Visa Guide page.
Baggage & customs
Green channel if you have nothing to declare. Alcohol and pork may require declaration — we explain rules beforehand.
SIM & connectivity
Operator kiosks in arrivals. We can prepare an eSIM before departure or buy a SIM for you — message us on WhatsApp.
Meet & transfer
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with an Almas Russia sign. The minivan includes a welcome pack with water, wipes, dates, chargers and a prayer mat.
Good to know
- We recommend scheduling your return flight at least 3 hours after hotel checkout
- Halal options in the terminal are limited — better to dine in the city with your host
- In winter, allow +30 min for the drive from the centre to the airport
- Save your host’s WhatsApp number before boarding
